Bull and Heifer Inventory
There will be 18 yearling Angus bulls and 15 bred commercial heifers available for purchase at the January 14, 2012 sale from Schneider Cattle Company.
Mark Earhart a long time friend and customer will be offering 12 of his bred commercial heifers again this year.
You can view the 2012 bull EPD information and a short video clip of each bull by clicking on the 2012 SCC Bulls link in the toolbar along the left side of the webpage. The bulls are free of all known genetic defects either by pedigree or testing.
This year as a special feature we are offering 10 AI'ed heifers. They were included in the synchronization program with our registered females, bred to calving ease sires Mandate, Credence and Dash. They are due to calf February 8, 9, and 10th.
Our 5 bull bred heifers are pasture bred to a son of 21AR Roundup that is very calving ease. They are due to start calving 3/15/2012 for approximately 45 days.
SCC heifers are on a Scour Bos and up to date preg information will be available the day of the sale. SCC and Earhart heifers passed a pre-breeding exam including pelvic check and all heifers are on a Modified Live Lepto/Vibrio vaccination program.
Bulls and heifers are available for viewing anytime. We will offer a wintering program again this year and encourage you to leave your bull purchases with us until spring. Please call or see Mike for details.
