Bull and Heifer Inventory
There will be 20 yearling Angus bulls and 10 bred commericial heifers available for purchase at the January 9, 2010 sale.
You can view the bull EPD information and a short video clip of each bull by clicking on the 2010 Bull Sale link in the toolbar along the left side of the webpage. The bulls are all AM free and NH free either by pedigree or testing.
The commercial bred heifers are at the very top of the ’08 heifers that Mike had originally kept to calf himself. Seven of the 10 are F-1 baldies and they are all bred to a calving ease bull that we have used on heifers for 3 years. The heifers are due to start calving on 2-20-10 for a 42-day window. They are freeze branded and have had two rounds of scour shots.
Bulls and heifers are available for viewing anytime. We will offer and encourage you to leave your bull purchases with us until spring. Please call or see Mike for details.
Buyers who are not able to attend may direct your bid to the owners or the auctioneer, Mark Venteicher, 712-779-0169. Bids will be handled as if you were present.
