About SCC
In June of 2009, after much thought and research we decided to purchase our first pot load of purebred Angus females and a second pot load of females were purchased that fall. All of our Angus cattle are free of all known genetic defects either by pedigree or by test. Our herd is growing and so is our knowledge of the Angus cattle and the Angus cattle business. Our family works together in every aspect of caring for our cattle. The Schneider Cattle Company is eager and excited to be part of the American Angus Association and proud to be a provider of top quality Angus cattle. We look forward to growing our herd, while adding pounds and profit to yours.
Mike and Kari Schneiderare both graduates of Audubon High School in Audubon, Iowa. They were married in July of 1984. Shortly after they were married they moved to Adair County, Iowa, and haven't left the area since! Mike continues to serve the area as an independent sales agent for Pioneer Hi-Bred. Kari is now full time at the farm to help manage the seed and cattle business. Between the cattle, seed agency, farming a few acres and chasing grandkids around, the Schneider family manages to stay busy!
